Whether you attend our 8:30 service at the Outback Crab Shack, or our 11:00 service at Wards Creek Elementary School, you’ll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere.  The dress is casual, the people are friendly, the message is relevant, and the worship is genuine.  Our music is up-to-date.  We sing everything from updated hymns to Charlie Hall, David Crowder, Matt Redman and Third Day.  At Providence, you’ll find people just like you from the World Golf Village area.  We’ll go out of our way to make sure you feel welcome, but we will also make sure you are not singled out and made to feel uncomfortable.  Providence is a great place to connect with people, or just to check out what the Bible has to say about God and life.

If the weather’s nice – we meet outside under the tent by the creek at Outback Crab Shack at 8:30.  On cold or nasty days we warm up inside.  We have the same dress code as the Crab Shack – no shoes, no shirt, no problem.  People often come to worship straight of their boat . We’re the only church in town that offers a 1/4 long boat dock for parking.

If you are joining us for our 11:00 service at Wards Creek Elementary you’ll enter through the east gate (the one you use to pick up your kids)  and come in the building using the entrance just to the right of the main entrance.  It’s clearly marked and there will be volunteers to help give you directions if you need them.  Your children ages birth – 5th grade can be checked in to our safe and secure Pro-Kids experience in the Orange house on your right as you head toward the cafeteria.  Inside the cafeteria, you’ll often hear the live band warming up while you enjoy coffee, doughnuts, or more healthy breakfast fare.  Make yourself at home, catch up with some old friends and new neighbors, and enjoy a relaxed environment for worship.  

We love kids at Providence, they are welcome at both services.  At our 8:30 service, outside at the Crab Shack, children are welcome to sit with their parents and the family can enjoy the experience by Six Mile Creek together.  Our 11:00 service offers a full range of children’s ministry for infants, pre-schoolers, and elementary age children.  We work hard to create environments where children  will learn and enjoy church so much, they’ll be bringing their parents to church the next week.
