GIVE PURE WATER

We’ve been working to plant churches among the Gnobe Bugle people of Panama since we got started here at Providence.

We’re heading back in March to build our 6th church building for this movement of God.These people are hungry for God’s word and we are partnering with Calvary Baptist Seminary in Costa Rica to train national pastors for this area of the world.

The Comarca where they live is largely undeveloped. The villages where our churches are located have no electricity and water sources are often unclean.

Many of the Gnobe Bugle people  get their water from a river or community well, which is little more than an open hole in the ground on the side of the mountain. This leads to many parasite infections among the children. None of these people have cars and it is often more than a full days walk to the nearest clinic.

Last year we purchased and installed 25 bio-sand water filters which will provide pure water to around 300 people for 10 years.
